Role Overview: We’re seeking an enterprising, eccentric, and intellectually promiscuous person to lead Design at Alt Carbon. We are looking someone who is obsessed with great products, good designs, and creative aesthetics. If you spend time thinking about design & communication, community & culture and feel like your talents are not being adequately utilised where you currently are, this role is for you.

Problem Statements:

• Carbon Removal is a complex idea. How do you communicate that effectively through visual, graphic and abstract design?
• Enhanced Weathering sounds boring and technical. Can design be effectively leveraged to make it a simply understandable idea?
• Every college graduated, young person on the internet seems to care about the climate. There are innumerable ‘Climate’ companies and VCs in India and globally that now exist. How can Alt Carbon stand out by creating a design language that’s globally appreciated, but rooted in Indian sensibilities?
• How can we use storytelling to effectively communicate what is happening behind the scenes for our durable CDRs?

Key Responsibilities:

• Brand Development: Work on the ideation, early development & evolution of the brand identity for Alt Carbon and our upcoming projects/products, maintaining consistency across all design touchpoints while pushing the envelope on creativity and innovation.
• Visual Design & Prototyping: Create visually stunning and intuitive designs for a variety of mediums, including websites, tech products, marketing collateral, client decks, social media, and print. Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
