Role Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer at Alt Carbon, you will play a pivotal role in designing user-centric interfaces for our digital platforms, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences for our users. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and sustainability experts, to translate complex data and processes into accessible and visually appealing designs.

💻 What You’ll Do:
- User Research & Analysis:
- Conduct user research to understand target audiences, their needs, and behaviors.
- Analyze user feedback and activity to enhance the user experience.
- Design & Prototyping:
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design graphic user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes that illustrate design concepts and interactions.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine designs.
- Usability Testing & Implementation:
- Conduct usability testing to identify and troubleshoot UX problems.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience of min 4 years as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
- Knowledge of front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
