Alt Carbon is a deeptech science and data company, building agri-infrastructure for climate action. We aim to make South Asia a hub for Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) through technology pathways like Enhanced Rock Weathering and Biochar. Alt Carbon’s HQ is embedded within the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) – India’s premiere research institution. We have friends, family and well-wishers come and work/jam with us. We usually have a full-house from Monday-Wednesday; and it’s the best time to visit us.

You can expect a guided walk through Alt Carbon’s HQ in Bangalore — a journey from the buzz of our main office to the heart of our labs. Along the way, we'll introduce you to the science and systems behind enhanced rock weathering and biochar, and share how these ideas transform real landscapes.
☕️ We’ll close with a cup of Dorje tea, sourced directly from the farms where our ERW work takes place — a small taste from the soils we help revive.
